I got a call from these clowns, too. I got a voicemail stating there is a lawsuit against me, blah blah blah. The caller had a heavy foreign accent and said his name is "Paul, and he works for a fraud dept. Yeah, right. I had enough of this poppycock.
I received a call from this number on the 23 of March and it was a foreigner that I couldn't understand at all and it was very noisy in the background. I ask that he not call this number again and he mocked me and just repeated what I said. I hung up and he called back 3 more times before I cut the phone off. After cutting the phone back on I saw he had called back 2 more times and the message was just the loud foreigners in the background.
Received 4 calls today. Same story, then he left a message on voicemail at work. When I said this was BS he started swearing at me and said "You'll see what BS is" That's when I got 3 more calls. Heard they are not even in the States.
This guy I continues to call my place of employment. I am asst. admin so.. Yes I answer the phones.. He was quite rude so I said I wasnt me. I pretended to be someone eles.. He is Indian (India) descent. For the last month he has been call providing american names.. Richard Anderson(Oscar Goldman from the Bionic Man), & Bobby Brown.. I told him you really dont want to use the name of Bobby Brown(Whitney's EX)..lol....Even though I told him I didnot work there he continued to advise I was portraying fraud and I was under investigations and I was going to loose my Job. Well I was off one day and a manger got the call. He told him I was under investigation for misusing my ss# and defrauding the company I work for. The manager took the info and advised me when I return to work.. I told him I dont know who that is and if in fact if I was going to jail dont you think SOME ONE would have by now picked me up and took me to jail.. lol..The guy even said he knows Michigan's Atty Gen. and they have a warranty out for my arrest. This man continues to flood all 4 lines at once calling back to back...IT WAS RIDICULOUS!!, My next vacation day off is 4/7/11. I told the people I work for listen if they want or just hung up..after that I can shield my own calls.. Since I answer the corporate lines..LOL....But Really if you got the number to my employers wouldn't you have an address for work and home to just come and arrest me or at least send me something in writing.. This man was so crazy that he was cursing in his language to one of the ops managers because the manager's name was Patel(a very common indian last name)..Ops manger was very cool, but professional..he said if I was at work I would have got with him, but since he was on the company phones he just let the guy cursing him out.. I'm so hilarious I asked him teach me some cursing words from the indian language so I can curse the guy back..LOL...(~_~)
I got several calls this week from a foreign guy who says his name is Jack Williams harrassing me and saying that i have a lawsuit against me and that i need to send him money or else. He wanted me to fax him a note stating i was in agreement with some debt and giving him permission to debt my credit card. I asked him to fax me a letter on his professional letter head; stating what's the debt owed and payment arrangement and he stated he does not have a fax machine; instead he wanted me to do it for him. I am going to speak with my attorney and have charges filed against this jerk.
