Just got a phone call from this number wanting me to verify my soc # and that that were going to file 3 charges against me for fraud, and 2 other things. they told me I owed them $300 and finance charges. Last week I had a call from California claiming the same thing. Has this happened to anyone else? The can't tell me the exact name of the company, just that they are the parent company for cash advance. And they also say ii's ok to tell my lawyer there infomation. I don't know what to do!
These companies are scams. By law they are required to send you a letter telling you of their intentions. They never send letters. Ive had them tell me they are detectives. When I asked for their badge number the guy gave me my birthyear as his badge id. I told him that was wrong and he stuttered well Im not an actual detective. I just want to help you out. They arent even a real company. Ive called them out on not being licened to serve papers and they just claim yes they are. Ive called my courthouse to see if theyve filed anything and they havent. They are dumb
this number calls both r cells and my fiances work nonstop-he is unprofessional and very rude! says we owe $600 now or $1000 in court, but its to the point my fiance could get fired for this man harrassing us!!! im going to call the police and report the number as a harrassing phone call!!
They have been calling cell phone also using international numbers in addition to this 508 number. It is a scam and boiler room. they are using fear tactics to get innocent people to send them money! block their number. report them to your phone company.I use my army training vulgarity to embarras them.
