I have robo block where this number rings once and then ends...Its a robo call.... somehow these people have an override and my phone rings and they never leave a message... so now I have the number blocked on my phone. Rings once for the robo block and rings once on my phone block. The calls do not end!!
I have one of those Panasonic phones that allows blocking up to 250 numbers. If you block a number the phone does not even ring here and on their end it seems to them like the call never went through. This is the only way I've found to get rid of these jerks as eventually they'll stop calling if they think it's a dead number. Of course, I filled up the 250 numbers after some months, deleted some from the block list and am adding more as they come in. It takes some time to do, but the phone rings much, much less each day.
