The guy that called me last night from this number was Ben!!! He told me if I didn't pay $1481.00 that the courthouse was issuing a warrant for my arrest. I was scared to death I didn't know what to do!!!
Got a call from Paul Green from the department of Law & Investigation from 508-342-0126. Doesn't surprise me that this is a scam. Do not agree to any of the information that they have even if it is correct. Tell them to leave you alone and if they do Not stop calling you, you will turn them in to the police department and contact an attourney to sue them for harassment! I guarantee they will leave you alone!! Another number I got called from is 321-4187996 and they are trying the same thing.
Similar complaint that they had my SS# in its entirety and same threats of legal proceedings due to what they claimed was an unpaid payday loan.

Honey, there is no such thing as debter's prison any more.
And, if they are legit, and DO sue you, they have to notify you in writing, in advance of the court date. If they don't, even if it's legit, you have a good case for a consumer attorney. Don't panic. That's what they want...you get upset and wind up giving them information or sending them money. Be strong.
I AM SO SICK OF THESE WEIRDOS CALLING ME WHO CAN NOT EVEN SAY MY NAME AND YOU CAN HARDLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SAY. THEY CALL MY HOME,CELL AND MY JOB AFTER I HAVE NUMEROUS TIMES TOLD THEM TO QUIT CALLING ME. I DID CALL POLICE AND THEY TRIED OF COURSE THEY GOT HUNG UP ON. DID PUT A BLOCK ON MY CELL PHONE LAND LINE WILL NOT DO IT .WHAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP THESE FOREIGN IDOTS WHO THINK I AM STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM MY INFO THEY HAVE THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL WHICH I DONT LIKE THEY NEED TO GET A LIFE.
