3 calls today from this unwanted Caller, difficult to understand, seemed to be telling me that my computer had been hacked. Advised him I would run my anti-virus this evening and thanked him for the call.
Called 3 times this morning before a real person was on the line. Auto dialer. Indian man telling me that my computer had been hacked. Asked me what was on my screen (which was quickbooks) and asked me to look at my keyboard and tell him what was beside my control key. I informed him that my comp was running fine but I would have my IT guy check it out this afternoon. He proceeded to tell me that he was IT and my computer is not fine. I hung up on him. He called back yelling at me for being rude. I politely asked him to stop calling, he continued to yell so I hung up again. He called back and I told him I would block the number. He called 7 more times before I was able to get it blocked.
I think a similar Indian fake IT call center called from a different number.... I cut the guy off when he mentioned, "computer..." and told him "no, not interested", and hung up.
Guess, this is a different number. So, when does the Indian authorities get to raid this call center?
(All these people have potential to actually help people with their computer problems and earn a decent living. Not like this.)
Foreign accent male called me B****. He said he was from Microsoft and I had a virus. Asked what was on my computer. I advised not in the mood to be hacked and hung up. I called the # he was calling from and no incoming call accepted. He calls back immediately used profanity, I hung up again
