I have been receiving calls from this and other numbers now for months - same story - some hook and line - and I have been ignoring it the entire time. but today they actually called my supervisor at work (who is thankfully on vacation so the call was forwarded to me!) so I talked to them for the first time. I was very nice and polite, they were actually very nice - they mentioned we were being taped by the federal govt for their protection and that I should not use inappropriate language, which was funny. Anyway, he gave me a case number and I said, and I quote "thank you for that, but actually I am calling to give you my lawyer's phone number and my bankruptcy case number for your records, this way you can work directly with my lawyer". His response: "oh I don't need that, we did not realize you filed for bankrupcty, we do not need your lawyers information we can contact the authorities directly". Me: "that's not exactly how it works, but you can contact the courts or call my lawyer, whichever you prefer" Him: "it is fine, you do not have to worry about this case anymore, thank you for your time". By the way, I do not have a lawyer nor did i file for bankrupcty, just figured it would never end if I didn't call their bluff... hopefully this will work????
who are these people & how can they be stopped. It appears as if they are harrasing a lot of people. I too fell victim to their schem, whats the catch? to send them money or are they just a bunch of nuts, I can not imagine anyone sending them money.
They said they would charge me with check fraud and I would go to jail. They would not give me the information of the company that a suppose to have defrauded.Would not work with me.
they did then same stuff to us and called us 15 time is 10 min and when i called them back u cant understand them and the tell u that u will lose everything in your life so i called the cop and they told me to block the number w thinking about getting a lawyer
