The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
This is another credit card scam. It is CreditCardServices, and they keep changing their phone number and the callers name. Makes no difference if your on the Do Not Call list as that too is a scam. Telemarketers buy the DNC list as they know these are active numbers and when they get caught, they get a slap on the wrist and use a different phone number. This is why making a complaint on the DNC website only waste your time and keeps government people employed.
call from 508-366-2496 - message saying I can get 6% rate drop on my credit card. Press 1 to talk to operator. Did that and asked them for identity - they said they are credit card services working for Chase/Capital One and Citibank. I said prove it and they hung up - SCAM, didn't even wait for them to ask me for confidential information. Called my Bank and informed them. They agreed - SCAM and have other customers reporting it.
