This is simply a "generic number" that appears for the ID for the entire company's phone system (which could be made from one of over a 1,000 office phones here). It is not a number that takes inbound calls (and thus the "not in service" message you will get if you call it.) We manufacture and sell high tech analytical instrumentation and chemistry products, and would only normally be calling into a place of business (we sell to analytical chemistry labs, typically -- especially in the pharmaceutical industry). We are NOT consumer-directed telemarketers, and if you are receiving a call into a private residence, it is probably a mistake, or someone calling form here that knows you and is calling on a personal matter. Alternatively, you may have provided a number to us in response to a mailer you may have received at work, or a form you may have filled out at one of the many trade shows we attend every year (PittCon, ASMS, for example).
