I received a similar call as well but the Departmwnt of Justice claims he does not work there. I am unsure if I am contacting the wrong office or if he is making this all up. What was the message he left you about?
I received a message from Steve Richards with the Office of CRS. His voice conveniently faded or cracked when stating what the call was about. He wanted me to call him back. When I looked up CRS it appears to be an office of the Department of Justice.

It's Credit Recovery Systems and Steve Richards is a total a**. I think it's a scam as he was very hesitant in providing proof of the debt and I have yet to receive an email with that proof that he claimed he was going to send me.
