The phone companies certainly have the capability to allow their customers to block numbers. This is an excellent example of why they should enable it.
I, too, just received a call. Didn't get to the phone in time and no message left on my voice mail. Seems likely another number to block. DNC list hasn't worked in years. It was effective for a while, but I presume nobody bothers prosecuting violators or perhaps they are all HQ'd offshore so no apparent jurisdiction?
