i received a call from this number from a man named steven johnson. when i told him i would give him my attorney's contact info he said i would be arrested by then and hung up on me. when i searched the number on the net it came back as an auburn, MA number. the company name is CIF, there is also another number from the same steven johnson. it is 704-755-0213, this number comes up as being in belmont, NC. this man is very rude and hard to understand. anyone else with this problem?

This man called from (508) 966-8124 in regards to someone else and was very threatening, identifying himself as a U.S. government official from the Central Investigations Department of the United States, involved in an investigation. What sent red flags was that he asked us to reply to a different number (508) 407-7244 and I've never known a givernment agency to divert calls. When I looked the numbers up, neither belonged to a U.S. government office. This is a scam! I am reporting them to the FBI right now.

The man that answered the phone was very rude, and had a thick arabic accent. He said something about owing some debt, and either settling in court for 4000, or paying over the phone for 300...which doesnt even SOUND right. I told him that I needed to call him back, and he then got upset and asked why I couldnt just do it now. I called and reported them to the Federal Trade Commision! Im glad I found out this was a scam and not real.

i got a call from 508-407-7244 yesterday. this guy had a really heavy arabic accent and said his name was brian and requested to speak to a person i don't even now. when i told him i didn't now that person he got very rude and threatened me he said i could go to jail for covering that random guy that he asked me for. i told him i would call him back n i didn't so he called back very ruddly. he told me i owed some blank checks and that if i wanted to settle this issue in court it would be $4850 and out of court it would be $480. so i told my husband and we went to check at our bank and i don't ow anything. yesterday he called me again and said very ruddly that if i didn't pay any money i would go to court and go to jail. i told him that i wasn't going to give him any money because i didn't owe any money. he got mad and asked me if i had an attorney because i was going to need it. i told him i did and i hung up. and i'm calling the cops today and reporting him. i would really like some feedback. thanks.
