Most newer cell phones have that feature. Check with your provider. If you are talking about a landline the answer is no . Not all phones have that feature. I have a Panasonic cordless phone and it can block 250 numbers
Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a Verizon Core recording saying that the call could not be completed as dialed.
This is another of the tired old "Switch Your Electric Rate Provider to Save $" SCAM calls. Only problem is, you DON'T save $; after a month or two their rates go up even higher that the previous, probably government-regulated utility. They usually ask for your Electric Bill Account Number, which then can be used tl "SLAM" you (switch you w/o your permission.) JUST as dangerous as giving your cc #.
This is the Sister Scam to the "Buy Solar Panels Over the Phone Sight/SITE UNseen, UNmeasured, UNevaluated (all REQUIRED steps) for Solar from a Complete FORIEGN STRANGER with a CREDIT CARD" SCAM. WHO are these people DUMB enough to FALL for these schemes???
We have gotten OVER 450* of just these two types of scam calls since Feb 2015 and have BLOCKED ALL of the numbers, but, like today, they find a new # to spoof and try all over again. WHEN will they give up on us? We've NEVER fallen for ANY of these?? (* Total Doesn't even include all the OTHER category of scam calls we've gotten: Lowered interest rates, Medical devices & lawsuits, "Fix" our computer, IRS scams, Scam 'Charities', etc. etc. etc.)
