Got a call last night from this number. My caller id shows S Name. I didn't answer this as I had no idea who S Name is. No one I know has there name come up on my caller id like this. I have a blocker machine and it stopped the call and wouldn't let it come through. I'm sure glad call blockers were invented. This sounds
Note: A heads up on another number that called me a couple of days ago with the same S Name showing up on my caller id. The phone number is 209-674-7064. The 209 area code is out of Stockton & Modesto, California areas. I suspect these are the same people calling but using another number. These people calling may be kin to each other & they are spread out all over the US. Or it may be these numbers are spoofed from overseas & using numbers from different states.
It was just odd that in 3 days these 2 calls came in with the same caller id description. I sure wish the word "Scammer" was in the list under Call type as I would click on that. It's just about 100% that these callers that we don't recognize the numbers, are all scammers trying to steal from the unsuspecting person.
Called on my cell this afternoon --- left no message -- came here and see that it is obviously a SPAMMER -- so have blocked them.....
Didn't try to call them back to see if they're a 'live' number, or a spammed 'out of order' number, but haven't had time yet..... I just love 800 notes..... keep up the good work !
Represented themselves as honeywell security. After yelling at them to stop calling, they called back and recited my social security number and address thing to intimidate me.
