I just got one from them as well they said there is a case pending in Worcester District Court. What should I do - call them back or wait for a subpoena?
Calling several times daily stating they are Alston Byrd associates and claiming I borrowed money in 2009!!! states I committed fraud and never paid them back. When I ask for details they tell me my "case" is moving forward and police will notify me. Its hogwash, but just a heads up for anyone else getting these kind of extortion calls.

Are you in Massachusetts? I don't even know if they are real debt collectors because I can't find a number attacked to a business.......I had payday loans years ago but when they come on too strong threatening to have the police come I am loathe to believe they are legitimate.
They are using that 508 number I left a message telling them to stop calling uncle, aunt and anyoen in my family and said without a corresponding company name I don't have any way of knowing they are legit
