Several calls a day from these folks, under this and several other numbers with a Caller ID of MASSACHUSETTES - note the poor spelling. Against my better judgement, I have picked up on several occasions - simply to ask to be taken off their caller list - but they always hang up shortly after I answer. Obviously clueless about how to provision their robocalling call center if nobody takes the call once the "sucker" answers! Other numbers with same caller ID include: 5082225940, 5082225947, 5082225941, 5082221036.
this number keeps calling. would like to know who it is. I.D. says Fire Assn. but when I looked it up on Norton safe search -no info came up. They have called under 508-222-5783 also.

Caller ID says "MASSACHUSETTES" (misspelling is theirs not mine). They leave no message.
I call back (more than once) during business hours (using *67 to block my number). I hear the busy signal. The signal seems to change every minute or so. I suspect the busy signal is their outgoing message.
So we have a (poorly) spoofed caller ID and the inability to be called back. Smells like a SCAM to me.
They called today. I answered. They said "hello" several times. This was a male; didn't sound like a computer generated voice with an American accent; he sounded professional. But since they spoof their caller ID and don't leave messages, all they got from me was silence.
