Caller ID comes up as "FIA Card Services" but it's NRG Energy trying to sell you Solar systems. They call and claim to be "working in the area" and want to schedule someone to come out and conduct a survey and build and estimate for your home. Typical boiler room operation going on in the background. When I told the woman I wasn't interested she wanted to know why.

Actually got a call first yesterday. She wanted to do a quick survey about solar but I couldn't talk as I was on my way out. Had mentioned she was in Colorado, which I didn't even think about until now (it's a Massacusetts number). She called back today and I don't know why I answered, but I did. Guilt I guess. So she asked about how much I spend on my electric bill, who the carrier was, and what kind of roof I had. She mentioned how nice my house looked and she could see there were trees next to the house, so she was obviously using google earth or something. Then said there were people in the area and tried to set up an appointment with me for them to give me a price. Told her I wasn't interested after almost setting it up. How could I be so stupid?!
