THE EXACT SAME THING just happened to me. After the asked me if I had a visa or MasterCard they hung up on me. I called back once it was a non working number. I called back again and it rang once. It then answered and someone said my name. And proceeded to tell me about an iPad giveaway. I asked questions about what this was and what was going on and they said have a nice day. And hung up again. Strange.
Please tell me who this is. I applied to an online mom website to get stuff for my kid about 1 yr ago. I'm just now (7-4-14) getting a phone call. They knew who I was, asked how old I was , then asked if I was a visa or MasterCard holder. Then they said they would call me right back with all the processing applications for a $250 gift card. They ten hung up and I called back and it's a non working number.....who the heck was that?!

So what is going on is they are baiting you into calling them because they can't call you and proceed they ask some qustion then you interest is tweeted then you they are betting on that you will call back then they cannot be foward with their telemarketing lyingand or debt collection becaus you called them and that means they can now call you at any time sneezy [***]
They call, I say hello, they don't ask for any name n just say ...sorry wrong number. It was loud so I thought I may have not heard the name. It's a local prefix so I called back. I said I just missed a call, they mumbled a name n said sorry wrong number n hang up without an answer if I'm the name they r asking for. Keep calling, weird.
