This male was on the line asking for an "Annie" of some sort. When he was told he had the wrong number he then called me a liar saying that I knew whom he was talking about and to put them on the phone. I hung up. He then called back immediately, when I answered and told him AGAIN he had the wrong number he then became even more rude and obscene. Threatening my household, saying that I would have to deal with the state, I hung up on him again. Thankfully he did not call back.
I received a call asking for someone that is not at this phone. I did not answer, as I did not recognize the number on caller ID, but it says I should call him back if I would like to deal with this matter voluntarily. It doesn't say what it is in regards to, but I have no idea what he might be talking about. So it sounds as though I have encountered the same person as everyone else who reported this number, which means I'm guessing a collection agency. I'm not answering it, and I'm not calling back. I'm not obligated to talk to anyone I don't want to, especially if they don't even say what it's regarding.
Like everyone else, I got a call from this number. They were, rightfully, asking for me, however, it was one of the most infuriating conversations I have ever had. This conversation was filled with false accusations towards me, being called a liar, and then the guy threatening to report information opposite of what I said. Went as far as to accuse me of not caring about my legal obligation, and saying that I have no rights AT ALL. It is most definitely a collection agency.
