This number called my husband's cell phone. Whitepages indicates it's spam but, at the time, did not specify the nature of the spam. Considering it's illegal to call people's cell phones for the purpose of telemarketing unless you have permission to do so or have prior business dealings, that puts the caller right into the scam artist category. Not surprisingly, it's a VoIP number.
About two minutes ago, i received a call from this number. The person identified himself as Josh from customer service. I asked him customer service from where? Me told me I had won a vacation. At that point I told him to forget it and hung up.
Got a call a few minutes ago saying I had won a vacation to Florida. It was a recorded pitch not a live person. The recording rambled on and made it impossible to hang up by closing the circuit. To my landline not my cell.
