This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1210 hours. I let it ring for a while then picked up and said nothing. No one on the other end spoke so I suspect it was an idiot-recording from some scam artist, waiting to hear a voice before activating. For the heck of it, I blocked my call information and called the number back. Surprise, surprise. The number is not in service. So that's a guarantee on it being a scam artist illegally spoofing a phone number.
