Missed call; no voice mail.
Looking at previous posts I didn't bother calling back since it will probably tell me that the number is disconnected.
Checked Google: R. Mitson, MA.
My phone is also Alltel.
Got a call from this number to my cell..I don't pick up calls if they are not in my phone book. googled it and saw a Richard Mitson, so who is this m&*%erfu$#%??
2:14pm today. Same as above - 5085571240 wasn't in my mobile's contacts, let it go to voice mail. Automated message about auto warranty - "last chance, and the file would be closed after this." I hope so.
This guy is obviously spam-calling our cell phones -- I wonder who sold him this list of phone numbers? To help this along, this is my business cell phone number, in a 415 area code (SF Bay Area), which I have had for only a few weeks now. I gave this number to Advanta, my business credit card provider.
Yep, i just got this call also. i believe the caller id number is fake. i have receieved this same call from other numbers (at least two others) in the last month or so... i never pick up it, cause i don't recognize it. sometimes the recording goes right on into the VM and sometimes not. Always the same thing about some phony warranty.. just trying to get you to stay on the line and enter numbers. I saw on other posts about how someone (from overseas)was able to get into your phone records by getting you to enter numbers. don't know if it's true or not. but, i'm not taking any chances.
best thing to do is just not answer if you don't recognize the number, if it is something important, they'll leave a valid message ....
