We have been receiving calls also, so I went to our TWC account and did a live chat with their agent. This is a legitimate phone number from a group they are using to schedule the appointments. She also checked to see if or when the service would be completed in our area.
It says 'Foxboro MA' on my caller ID when they called.. I let it go to voicemail. It's a recording that basically sums up to saying it's Time Warner cable and they finished fixing in the area and we should call back to schedule an in home visit to get new modems. They leave a number to call back.
Now my question is when Time Warner cable calls with recordings it clearly says Time warner on my caller ID so why does it say foxboro? Not sure what to think of this!
