This number has called 6 times already....just this morning. They are claiming that they are from the Department of Fruad and that I owe a large sum of money. If I don't pay this money they will have the police come and arrest me. These calls are not real....I just ignore that number completely and delete any messages. They have a foriegn accent yet give an American name. There is a lot of noise in the background. Just hand up.
Started calling my supervisor and me today claiming I have to pay 787.50 or have a criminal case filed against me. He identified himself as Detection Financial Fraud officer.
This is all a scam and fraud. These people have tracked your information through on line payday apps and through teletrak.
Do not send them anything, and do not give them any info. Report it to the FBI website.
They use false names and identities to scam people for money. They have scammed over 5 million dollars so far in the past few years doing this scam (according to the FTC and FBI)
Eventually, our government will have to get involved, whether or not they could prosecute these individuals is irrelevant, they at least need to secure our cyber info as best as they can.
Teletrak needs scrunity as well on how they give out info.
Rememeber, real debt collectors call you, but they usually do not incinuate rape, pain, jail, etc. They also will 99% of the time will send you something in writing.
I got a call from a Alex Rodriguez, stating that they are going to get a hold of my states attorney general office and file a theft by deception suit against me.
These people keep calling my place of employment and my cell phone number. Before I knew it was a scam I gave them 900.00 which I have no way of knowing how to get back.
