i got the same call, His name was Steve and he told me I owed 525 for a cash advance. I have never taken out a cash advance. I was told that I would be taken to courts, he had my last 4 ss# and my checking account #!!!!!
I received numerous calls from this number today on my work phone. They called all throughout the day saying that I owe money from a cash advance which never happened, they had my social security number and old bank account number and I don't know how they got the number. They used profanity and even threatened my co-worker. The two names that they used that were obviously fake were Alex Rodriguez and Joseph Garza, they had Indian accents. I was let go today because this I worked in a medical clinic and tying up phone lines is dangerous.
I am a police officer located in Michigan and I am sitting with a young man who just told me the EXACT same story and everything you mentioned he just advised me, down to the names, calling work, using profanity, and tying up the phone lines. Obviously the subject I am dealing with is afraid of the exact same thing that happen to you, let go....Where you able to find out anything further on this # or situation?

Unlike you, I am trying to stop this from happening to innocent people or I would have asked more specific questions and tried to get more personal info from the original person who posted this....besides I am not the one sitting around looking up this B.S. and replying back with stupid comments....it is all way to common, deal with it every week, just like seeing people post stupid comments in return.....all way to common....like some other people
