Received call 6:20 in the evening.  Was told it was American Legion fundraising for local vets.  Checking on number to determine if true.  Suspect it is valid but from a member cell phone.  Last name of caller was White (name not race).  Leave a note on 800Notes to confirm or correct my comments.
