Just received a call from 508 879 5830. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT. After they explained that they would set up a lawyer to assist with my debt, and after direct questioning, they explained their service was to "assign an attorney to evaluate and prosecute issues with my unsecured credit." They were "decent" enough to inform that they could not help with my $150,000.00 worth of student debt, but they could help with the remainder of my debt. They "sought to protect me from predatory lending." ...... However, they became very rude, obtuse, and offensive when they discovered that debt was accrued studying law. The phone number is a "ghost" out of Framingham, MA.
MY RECOMMENDATION: keep them on the phone as long as you can, giving as much bogus info as you can; if you can afford the time, you might save some hapless soul.
