This call is such a scam. I've gotten calls from this number and similar numbers too, They are trying to say that they are with the fraud and worthless check division and that there was a bad check written by me and if I don't pay them then they will issue a warrant to arrest me. I know for a fact that is [***] because IVE NEVER WRITTEN A CHECK IN MY LIFE. I've only used my debt cards or cash. So I know that's [***], and they are trying to say that it's from a payday loan that "I never paid" from FUVE YEARS AGO. But I know For a fact that I paid it, but if I didnt, why would they wait 5 years to collect it? Every time they call I ask them to mail me something and they always give me an attitude and say that they don't have too, it's [***], they don't send anything out because they don't want a paper trail that can lead back to their scam..I've been getting these types of calls for about a year, and I tell them to suck it everytime, and guess what? Im not in jail.... It's all a scam, don't let them scare you into paying up. It's actually illegal to threaten someone with jail time in order to collect a debt. Don't worry, I like to screw with them everytime they call :)
