This number called my DNC-listed landline today at 0953 hours.  Because 98% of all calls I get on my landline are scam artists, I knew this one would be no exception.  I picked up the phone but said nothing.  There was nothing on the other end.  The call automatically disconnected after a moment or two.  This tells me that it was an auto-dialer with either an idiot-message waiting to hear a voice before triggering or a system that transfers the call to the next available scam artist when it hears a voice.  Either way, it didn't work the way they hoped because I said nothing.  The number is VoIP, that favorite tool of scam artists worldwide.  Whitepages indicates it's spam, however seeing they're illegally calling at least one DNC-listed number, that makes them scammers.
