Got a call from that number on my home phone which I did not answer and no message was left on my answering machine. A few minutes later, I got a call on my cell phone from that number and immediately I heard fast beeping noises but nobody answered. A few minutes after that, I received a second call on my cell phone and again got the fast beeping noises when I answered. I called that number back and got a message saying that number was not in service.
I have been receiving calls from this number on both my cell phone and house phone at random times for the last 4 weeks . My caller ID would only show the number without the area code abd when I answered their was know one their. I just received the call again on my house phone only this time the area code came up on the caller id. I answered the phone and a male party asked me if I did residential remodeling and said he was lookinf for cabinets to be installed. I asked him who was calling and he said : you don't have to be a _______ [***]. I got your name from a friend and know I'm going to have to call him and tell him what a _______[***] you are and hung up.
Other than the number the caller Id showed only "Massachusetts" I searched the number and it came back to Charlton ,Ma. and said the carier was. CONVERSENT COMMUNICATIONS OF MASSACHUSETTS, LLC. Operating out of 5 Wall Street Bulington, Ma. 01803 4770.
Called Sunday eve at 7:25 p.m and Monday at 9 a.m. odd hours to be looking for cabinet installers no doubt some scam. I am on every do not call registry out there - which apparently is useless!
