I just had this number call and I did not answer as usual. Oddly enough, I had the other number you noted call me about 4 days ago. Again I did not answer. With no message left, and all of the info here.....it is definitely a scam or at least low life credit scum bags. (BTW......the DNC list works only for legitimate businesses, not criminals, low life scum bags, etc. All you can do is report them to law enforcement IF you are scammed.) My best advice id NEVER answer a long distance number or number you do not recognize......end of story.)
11-22-14 Received phone call from a woman who said she was calling about my credit cards. I don't have any credit cards. She gave a first name of Rachel; no last name. Ms. Anonymous said she was calling for Card Services. Never heard of a company called "Card Services". Assumed it was either a sales call or a scam and hung up. My phone is listed on the No-Sales-Phone calls list.
Got the same call, telling me I was eligible for "6.9% interest" on my credit card, "but this limited time offer is about to run out." I hung up and deleted the number from the phone. So much for being on the "No Call" list. :o(
Criminals, such as the lower interest rate scammers, do not obey the do not call registry. They are only out to rip off people by getting their credit card numbers.
