Received a call from this number claiming that I would receive 7000 dollar grant from the government. Asked for routing and account number so money could be deposited. Gave me a bogus number to call and speak with the claims supervisor.
Everybody knows this is a scam, right? At some point, they'll want your debit/credit account numbers or want you to Western Union cash to them. The Gov does not call up citizens to offer grants. This is a scam.
