Called left message claiming to be IRS. I called back and threatened me saying if I don't pay money I owe they will arrest me. Told me there was a warrant out for my arrest already. Then I started yelling at the guy and he called me stupid and screamed at me all sorts of derogatory words then hung up. I called back then he next person I spoke to looked me up through my phone number and called me by my brothers name and said that's who they are looking for. Remind you they left a clear message stating my name and the person I spoke to prior also verified that I was who they wanted. Scammers and horrible ones at that.
Received a call from this company suggesting that IRS was suing me. One website indicates the company name is QWest Corp. When I returned their call I talked with a Martin Anderson who claimed to have a badge number. He said I was being sued by IRS. When I told him that I had the same CPA for 19 years, make full disclosure every year and why was IRS suing me and why had IRS not notified me. He immediately hung up on me. I called back and they again refused to talk to me, hung up on me for the second time. Horrible people, I would say. There has to be laws against fraudulent tactics of this nature. I was suspicious because I am definitely a tax paying citizen, have a great CPA, always disclose everything etc.etc. and IRS has never contacted me. This is really upsetting and can create lots of anxiety...like where and why did they select me to attempt to scam?
Fake scam call. Robo caller called from 509-233-4140. 06-03-2016. Left a message on my machine, "... ... You are being sued by the i.r.s. please call our office at 5092334140." Firstly the real IRS uses snail mail, and second if they did call, it would be from a local verifiable branch.

I had a message on my voicemail yesterday from this number. Message said IRS was suing me.
I figured it was a scam- When I call back the number - and said- who are you and what's your message all about -
They hung up on me. SCAMMERS! Sad- some folks will be tricked and give a bank account number probably.
