Got the same message, Definite scammer, they just say "The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" not even identifying who "you" is, wonder how many people they scared into that, Call the IRS directly if you are worried, not that scam number.
I already have an arrangement with the irs to pay off overclaimed tax. When this company called as the irs they called they left a message saying they had a lawsuit against me. I called them back saying that I wanted to know why they're calling about a lawsuit because of my owed tax credit, and was so confused when they kept asking me for a number in which the call was recieved. I was so confused by the situation, I asked if they wanted a case number or phone number and he said yes a phone number so I gave them another phone number than the one they called and then they hung up.
