received call 3/15/2011 someone claiming to be a represenative of Meriwest Bank, saying that there was a fradulent transaction perpetrated with my bank account information. said his name was Ben Parker an ivestigator.cited my account number and asked for confirmation. when asked where the call was coming from ,said from New York but caller ID showed call was from Spokane Wa I called him a fraud and hung up.

received a call today 3/17/11 from a foreign representative claiming to be from "my bank" telling me that a company was trying to extract money from my account regarding a payday loan. Ive never used a payday loan, and they tried to get me to verify my routing number and account number and said they wanted to get my authorization to have a recorded line to record and ask me some questions. I am a cop, this is a fraud. please be aware of this situation so that you don't get caught in the scam
