I received a call at my home # I could not understand what she said her name was It sound like she said Taylor or Tyler saying it was regarding Legal Affairs . something in regards to important forcement action and I needed to call back
I got a call from an 800 number (I can't display that 800 number so I don't know what it was).
The caller claimed to be calling 509-477-9963, x 863, from the U.S. Treasury on behalf of the IRS, saying that I owed back taxes and a criminal case was being filed against me. This was "last courtesy call" before they were going to issue an arrest warrant for me. The woman claimed her name was Janet Smith. She also said she was calling from "the department of California, Bakersfield." She said my lawyer must call her within 30 minutes or they would issue an arrest warrant for me and put me in jail.
I had a similar experience as the post above. Received a call from 800-829-1040 and a woman with a heavy accent left a message stating she is from US Dept of Treasury and a warrant for my arrest was issued and I need to get an attorney and call her back at 509-477-9963. She said her name was Rebecca Taylor/Tyler. I just ignored. Scam.
Just got the same message to call this number with my lawyer's name as I owed back taxes (which I don't). Foreign sounding man with background noise threatening that I either call them or I would be arrested. Did check my caller ID and the number the call originated from was the IRS however the number he left was the 509-477-9963. Really getting disgusted with the so called people who are doing all of this scamming. Try getting your money legitimately like the rest of us do!
