anyway once they find a phone line that works to check their underground fiberoptic wire by while they are installing,,, ,,,they continue to use it as their test number.....swell, mine toooooo .......

Just got off the phone with Level 3 Communications, apparently they sell phone lines numbers such as the one above....they would not let me know who bought the phone number but would speak to Verizon....soooooo I called Verizon back and had them call per Level 3....I know this is confusing stay with me....Anyway Phone number belongs to One Three Voice and Data INC....

This must be a line use by overseas phone companies. I just got a call from a number I didn't recognize, so I hung up, then I got a call from the number above less than 10 seconds later. The first number ended up being from Ethiopia. I think the second ring was a fluke from the phone carrier.
Anyway.
I started getting these calls, too. First a call from a unknown area code then this call a few minutes later.
If I register my cell # on Do Not Call, will that stop these calls?
