Just received call on my voice mail indicating it was the IRS, who have been trying to contact me, and a law suit is being filed against me. Told to call 509-590-2218.
We received a call on our voice mail CLAIMING they were the IRS and were trying to reach us and a law suit was being filed. We were also told to call 509-590-2218, I looked it up on the IRS Website, report it to www.tigta.gov
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I receive this call several times a day. I politely asked them to remove me from the calling list. They have cussed at me, laughed at me, and hung up on me before putting me on the Do Not Call list. I am notifying my phone company, and reporting it to the police. I would appreciate any assistance in rectifying the matter.
