Scammers! Calling several times a day. Says they are from my credit card account services. I do not have any credit cards. Phishing for information, most likely. The message said to push 2 to stop receiving calls, but when I did it connected my to a salesman anyway. I said I would like you to stop calling me, and she just grunted and hung up on me.
Got a call from them today. No message left. I never answer numbers I don't recognize as anyone that is calling me for my business will leave a message. This has never been an issue. However, at beginning of March I started getting about 4 calls a day from a variety of numbers. When I look them up, I am always led to this site. I have never had to block a number so I don't even know how to do that. Is there anything at all I can do other than blocking. I feel that my number suddenly got on some list that all the scammers share. Help!
I answer a small community college IT help line for students. If it was at least from my state, I'd feel obligated to answer, but I don't get paid to answer telemarketer/scam/robo calls.
