Phone rang at 1109am, june 24,2016,
-on answering person with an east indian accent indicated that my windows security firewall was breached...
-i have received phone calls like this before so i let him talk for awhile and then told him politely that i thanked him for telling me about this problem and that i would look into it and said "good-bye" and hung up...
-in the past when receiving these calls, i have told them that:
(1) i owned an apple computer so it could not have been my computer
OR
(2) i have a friend that is a computer technician and he will fix it for me for free,
so i will see if thanking them will stop them from calling....
BUT I DOUBT IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Windows fixer scammers with thick Indian accents who also called me from 701-627-3318 (SPOOFED) at 19:10 last night. These maggots need to get a proper life!
Guy with middle eastern accent telling me something about compromised security on the computer. I said it was a work computer at the DA's office (Not true but thought it might shake them up a little) and I'd get the IT guys on it right away! How stupid do these people think we are???
