Received a phone call from this number this morning around 10:39AM. Caller knew my first name, then proceeded to tell me he was calling for an organization that was raising money for people with leukemia. They put together care baskets for them. Asked me if they could send envelope. I said no, I wasn't interested because I was unemployed. The man proceeded to apologize for my being unemployed, but then I cut him off and asked to speak to someone to have my number taken off the call list, and was hung up on before I finished my sentence. This is just one of several phone calls with numbers coming from a 510 area code this week. I don't know how legitimate the charity is, but frankly am not interested either way. Put them on my block number. But will expect a call tomorrow from another number.
