Like Matt, no one on line. Called it back, and it said to press 1 to be put on do not call list. If they'd check, I already am.
These shenanigans are an irritant, but I wonder what the motivation is - a shady marketing company claiming an increase in contacts? A CIA outfit gathering voice samples?
When you press 1 to be placed on their do not call list, this company (and thousands of others) add your phone number to a list of working phone numbers that are then sold in batches to sales companies and hackers around the globe. They are not getting voice samples. They want a list of working phone numbers and use robo-dialers (computer programs that simply generate and call random numbers in search of real phone numbers). Many are actually in Russia, China, and other countries and use a program that makes it appear that they are in the USA, so even our phone company's "Do Not Call " list is thwarted. I simply block these callers. My answering message lets people know that if they do not leave a message they will be blocked. I hope this information is helpful and answered your question. IF you actually answer the call, you might be talking with a scammer that warns you that unless you send money to the for a product or help, you will be punished and investigated by the IRS, lose your GOOGLE accounts, etc.
