I just got off the phone with this "Thomas Harrington". I assure you folks, this guy is spewing fraud. This is not the "REAL DEAL DEA". This guy needs to be stopped, period. Do not let him scare you. Do not give him a dime!! Let him know that you will be contacting local authorities and even the authorities in the 510 area code too. Shake him loose and block his calls.
Received call from (510) 295-4986 stating his name was Thomas Harrigan and was from the DEA administration. Actually that is the name of the real head of the DEA, but this was not the caller. He stated that I would be arrested in 5 minutes unless I paid him an $1800 fine, I called the real DEA public relations number and was told this was a terrible SCAM which they were working to stop.

Call from 510-295-4986 and said that he was from the dea and that there was a warrant for my arrest and the officers were on there way to an incorrect address but had my correct name. He asked me if I had any questions and that they were not trying to ruin my life and that there was 800 and something other people in the same situation. I said I didnt know what he was talking about and he hung up on me. From what Im reading it is a Scam and also he had a slight accent. Also if there is a warrant for your arrest they dont call to inform you that. They come to your house arrest you and then tell you that you have a warrant so people do not try to run away.
