Recieved a call from this number on a Sunday in Oct, 2016. Caller identified himself as Barry, had thick foreign accent, and heavy boiler room noise in background. Caller ID displayed Hayward, CA, but it was obvious by the delay, that this call originated from overseas. Barry was polite, and told me he was conducting an energy survey to see if I qualified for an energy discount, or something like that. He asked me if I was the homeowner, and if my energy bills were more than $70/month. I knew this had something to do with solar, so I told him I already had solar, so he politely ended the call. Some have wondered why I continue to answer unsolicited calls, I do so because I have found that if I do answer and request being added to their do not call list, or tell them I already have what they're peddling, seems to reduce the annoying calls. However, some companies continue to call no matter what I do. And if I never answer, the annoying phone calls just keep coming. (This is on a land line, I never answer unrecognizable numbers on my cell.) I don't have a call blocker. :(
Your choice. But if you answer these calls on a Sunday, you are just going to get more. And they will also try to scam everyone else because suckers you answer your phone. Mine went to Spam thanks to GV. blocked. I suggest you get caller ID at least. Or you can help those scammed by these calls....
