I did not answer this unrecognized, out-of-state number, so it went to voice mail. The caller did not leave a message, however 12 seconds of background noise was recorded, until they disconnected. I could hear many people speaking at once, in the background.
I could make out one phrase only; I heard a woman say, "... [unintelligable] ... a dollar ninety-three, and we're going to waive that for ... [unintelligable] ... next season ... [unintelligable] ...
Got a call from this number - no voice mail. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. This was a call from California. I don't know anyone who lives in California.
Caller identified herself representing The Washington Post asking for a Mr Davis. I am not Davis and when I told her I was on the National do not call list she quickly hung up.
