So sick and tired of telemarketers calling and calling and calling, despite being on the DNC list.
American Red Cross comes up on caller ID. I finally answered to tell these people to stop calling and to take our number off their calling list.
Man who answered didn't identify himself or that he was calling from the Red Cross. He said he could not take our number off the list because he couldn't talk to the person he was trying to reach!!!!!!!!!
I'm so fed up with these people. He "said" he could take our number off the list for 3 months and then they will start calling again and again!!!
I doubt that this is a legitimate number for the American Red Cross, just another scammer looking for money.
This number first called me on May 28th around 730pm. I ignored the first call, but when they called back immediatly, I picked up. I said hello 3x without getting an answer back. I just received another 2 back to back calls from this number again. I'm actually a blood donor with the Red Cross, and no, I don't think Red Cross would call without leaving a message.
Addendum: I called back; it is the Red Cross. It was legitimate as I've given blood with them recently and am eligible to give blood again (and highly desired donor) but their system is broken and they call too frequently. The person that answered said they'd take me off the list and would pass on the info that it's hanging up when I answer.
Just block their number on your phone and you won't get another call from them. It IS the Red Cross btw and they call me constantly. Just blocked them.
