The caller poses as a Microsoft tech support member, then claims your PC is sending errors in an effort to persuade you to download remote access software. It is a scam, plain and simple
I never answered this number before but decided to today. Heavy Indian accent, started to talk and when I told him I could not hear him he hung up. Called my cell, caller ID indicated Miami FL. Now blocked
Sounds like a variant of the old "..callink from Veendows. Jour dompooter his a veerus..." scam. Whatever you do - do NOT let these criminals interact with your computer. They are VERY computer-savvy, and want to implant some sort of virus/"tattletale"software/keystroke monitor, etc. Then, if you access your bank account(s), credit card(s), etc.they know all your account numbers, passwords, etc. etc. GOTCHA.
