Got VM on cell phone. So did some of my relatives...on their private cell numbers. No real details of who or what is was about...just to call back the number immediately to avoid further processing. Called back and live person answered: "Processing..Lucy Brennan" Account she referred to had been closed and paid for over 12 years. "Lucy" refused to give me any info on scavenger/predator debt collection company she worked for. Would like to know how Lucy and her company got my...and my relatives...private cell numbers. She refused to answer that as well.

Called from Austin area claiming to be Dallas County fraudulent check collector. Threatened to come pick my son up and gave no explanation as to whom the check was written, just gave him a time limit or go to jail. Talk about fraudulent, these people are.
Two of my relatives received calls from "Lucy Brennan" who said she's a process server in Dallas. I called her back and she didn't have my correct last name (I married 3 yrs ago), had an old address, and said they were filing 2 cases against me in Dallas County. She would not give me any information as to what it was about. I asked her what debt collector she's with and that's when she got really rude. I even asked her why she has an Austin phone number if she's in Dallas. She promptly hung up. I called her right back and told her not to contact any of my relatives again and that I know she's a debt collector. She hung up on me again.
Call came from Austin,TX claimed about a check from 6 years ago.
Two # 512-215-4509 and 512-215-4518
Said I owed $376,95 and had to pay in about 2 hours.
