Man requested to speak with a particular Marketing manager.  I asked what in reference to; he gave a phony laugh and then asked why he just couldn't be transferred.  I replied that wasn't done without knowing the purpose of the call, and he hung up.  Several people have reacted that way when I've caught them in a lie or they're trying to be "folksy" as a means of getting out of something.
