on 04/20/16, this number called the home phone AND the cell phone!!! Who has given out our home phone number AND linked it to our cell phone number??? Do you not hate it that ALL of our data is FOR SALE without giving us any FREE options to PERMANENTLY get rid of our information in their databases??? Both times, she wanted a registered voter for a survey. On the cell phone call, I told her she was breaking the law as I was on the Do Not Call list, so she put music on the line and I hung up. She did not state her name or her company name! I have tried reporting these kinds of calls through the FCC complaint process; the FCC NEVER fixes these complaints AND you can NOT talk to a LIVE human being for any follow up or resolution. WHY in the USA, do we, the citizens, have NO RECOURSE for companies that lie, cheat, steal, from us and make our lives miserable???
got a call from 512-543-7295, identified as SSI on caller ID. I let it ring 4 times and then picked it up, said hello twice and waited and waited, no answer. SSI does not work on Saturday's and they don't call from mobile phones, and they don't have offices in podunk towns out in the country.
We also received the same call last night and again tonight. Tonight someone left a message saying they were from Medicare and mentioning my husband's first name. Pretty sure it is a scam.
Just got a call from this number. I picked up on the 2nd ring, heard a beep as I answered. The line was quiet, no one spoke. This is really annoying. What happened to that "do not call" list I put us on? Why did I bother getting an unlisted number?
OKAY!!! FInally they came on the line--- it was a survey!!!! It was a survey about what we feel our oil & gas companies should be focusing on and how impressed we are with their plans.
