I've rewcieved severala missed calls from this number and she asked me to confirm my address but refused to tell me who they were from. I advised that I would not confirm anything to someone I don't know and asked them to identify themselves first and was told "we'll just try back another time". Whaaaat? Its a local # for me so it makes me feel it's a scam. No legitimate company would require you to confirm your address (I'd already confirmed my name) or additional info without identifying themselves??
Man with a heavy Middle East accent, asked if I still lived at my address, then asked me to hold while he transferred my call, then told me all lines were busy, and I needed to keep holding. NEVER told me why or what the call was about. I had a terrible time understanding him. I finally suggested he return to his country and leave me alone, although with a few added adjectives. Never heard back. I originally thought it was a friend calling, as I know several people from the little town of Dale, Tx which is where this call originated.
